- Regular cleaning: We recommend you vacuum twice weekly on a carpet setting to keep your rugs clean. Alternatively, you can hang your rug outside and hit or shake gently to remove any dust or dirt.
- Please Note: We do not recommend steam cleaning or machine washing jute rugs. You can use a rug cleaner or carpet cleaning solution if desired. If you are going to use a carpet cleaner make sure it is suitable for natural fibers and spot check first to make sure.
- Cleaning spills and stains: If you have spilt something wet we recommend spot cleaning immediately with a sponge, soft brush or clean white cloth with a dab of water or club soda. You can use a mild detergent or some wool wash with water to help with deep cleaning and stubborn stain removal. Gently dab the stained area with a soft cloth, it is important you allow the rug to dry completely which can be done easily using a hair dryer or vacuum.
