DIY natural surface spray and kitchen cleaner

Get inspired to kick start your spring cleaning with these simple DIY cleaning recipes.
These surface spray recipes are safe for your family and kind to the environment. By using what you have around the home you can reduce the need to purchase expensive chemical cleaners while also preventing unnecessary plastic production. 
All-Purpose Cleaner
🌿 Fill an empty spray bottle with 1 part white vinegar and 1 part water or if you don't have white vinegar you can use 1 part apple cider vinegar to 5 parts water.
🌿Add 10 - 15 drops of essential oils like eucalyptus, tea tree or peppermint for added scent (optional)
🌿Spray on surfaces and wipe with rags from old towels, t-shirts or washcloths
Citrus All-Purpose Cleaner
This recipe reuses left over citrus peels 🍋🍊 from your favourite fruit like oranges, lemons, mandarin, grapefruit and limes. It is perfect for cleaning wooden surfaces and leaves your surfaces citrus fresh. 
🌿Place all your citrus peels in a large glass jar and fill the jar with white vinegar.
🌿Allow the citrus peels to infuse and ferment in the vinegar for 5 - 7 days or longer if you want, I usually suggest keeping this in the fridge. 
🌿 Strain the liquid using a sieve or fine cloth into a spray container. 
🌿Add 1 part of your citrus liquid and 1 part water. 
🌿Spray on surfaces and wipe with rags from old towels, t-shirts or washcloths.
